Weekend brunch, roughly 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is the busiest shift of the week, and well-known spots run waits of 30 to 60 minutes; many now take reservations or a waitlist through an app. Expect large portions, free refills on drip coffee and a tip of 15 to 20 percent for table service. I love crepes. Everywhere I travel I must find a restaurant serving crepes. I’ve been in the RGV for a couple of years and never found a place. I was surprised to stumble upon this location. The location is not that great. Hard to find and parking is limited. I loved the interior design. The day I showed up it was just one employee. I ordered 4 crepes and a couple of drinks; in the end I only received 3 since the 4th wasn’t added. The wait time was more than I expected. Only two other people came in after me and received their orders quick and they were out. I got the chicken, pizza and the original. The crepe itself seems to be missing something. The chicken is a bit on the bland side and tastes like canned chicken. The sauce they use for the pizza was not tasty, it could use some seasoning. The original was ok but still, the crepe itself is missing something that would make it delicious. The vanilla matcha drink I had was good at least. Not so much the lemonade mango one. I was so wanting to love this place. In the end, I don’t think this is a place that I’d recommend nor return to.
